GIVING BACK
I've been trying to find a way to give back through my work. I am now a member of 2 great organizations that provide Infant Bereavement photography for free. This allows families to honor and cherish thier babies or children, and share the spirits of thier lives. One is called The American child photographers Charity Guild. You can see more information on them at www.acpcg.com. The second is called Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep http://www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org/ Both are A non-profit, volunteer based organization of child photographers from all over the country who have come together to form a guild dedicated to children in need and their families.
I really hope I can share this gift of photography with those who are going through such difficult times. I can't imagine losing a child. This way I can help families to keep their memories alive through photographs.
