Kira's Birth

I very well may be changing the spelling of Kira's name very shortly....Michelle and Joe haven't decided yet. So...what an amazing experience!! I was able to see Michelle's c-section performed early this morning. Michelle has become a dear friend to me. We met through my best friend in Denver, and communicated a bit when Michelle lived in Las Vegas, she is also a photographer ( a very good one at that). This is her first girl!! She has 2 other boys, but James passed away when he was just 2, about a year and a half ago. Michelle is an incredibly strong and inspiring woman. I have learned so much from her. It was such a honor to be in the delivery room with her! Love you Michelle!

Sweet Mia

Mia Mia, little Angel baby Mia. What a cool experience to meet this family. Melissa is a cancer survivor, and has been unable to have children of their own...until now! They just adopted this beautiful baby Mia!! It just continues to prove to me that God truly does have a plan for everyone. You never know what treasures are in store for you!!

This is a very special rocking chair...it was passed down from Melissa's Great Great Grandmother. Her Mom recently restored it and gave it to Melissa. It's absolutely beautiful. And to think, Mia is now laying in many many generations of  love.

Tyler,Lyndsie & Baby Elsie

I am so blessed to meet all of these amazing people...time and time again. Elsie is an adorable 5 week old, I just love newborns ( but I am thankful I'm not waking up in the middle of the night with my own :)) These two seem to be naturals at parenting a newborn. I was so much more of a stress case with my first. You guys are great! And you make very, very pretty babies!

Meredith and Logan

Meredith...is such a cute pregnant queen! She's my sister is law...whom I call for all my health questions- she's a labor and delivery nurse. As you can see she is great with child, and has the BEST blue eyes. Logan will be born in just about a month! This will be her 3rd adorable boy in 3 years. She's a brave woman, and a wonderful mom! Love you Mer!                                            How cute is my nephew??!!

Burklie

One of my very favorite subjects...sweet blue eyed Burklie, she's on my blog 3 other times...of course one of those was her inside her mama's tummy, but that still definitely counts and makes her a tad famous. :) This is just a sneak peak at her session...more to come later when it's not 2 am. :) I just can't get enough of her! 6 months is such a fabulous age to capture babies. It's one of my favorite ages, they can sit up but can't crawl away, and they look so cute no matter what. Beauty....
