When I was little I remember seeing photographs that made my stomach tighten up and my heart beat a little faster. I loved that. I loved that an image could evoke emotion so powerfully. Love, compassion, longing....I still feel that way when I'm editing and looking at the images of clients families loving each other. It's like a little present to me. :) I try my very best to capture the spirit of you...of those you love. I love that I can stop one moment in time forever for you to look back on and remember. Afterall, in the end, pictures are all we have. Our life is made up of small moments. I just want to freeze a few for you to keep forever.

I hate being late, guided tours,
mustard, and camping with a newborn.

First of all...I love his name so much! This fresh little babe is so so sweet! He was so good...except for the 2 times he pooped all over his mom while we were getting nudie shots. It was actually quite hilarious, his mom couldn't stop laughing. Anyhow, these are some of my fave shots. I just couldn't get enough of him!

So how amazing are these kids sparkly eyes? I can't get enough of blue eyes...probably because I don't have them. But I so covet them. You guys are so amazing! I love love love your family!

Elsie 6 months

It seems like just yesterday I was taking Elsie's newborn pictures! Time flies so quickly...and this is why I love photography. One minute they're teeny weeny babies and the next they are 6 months old and they've changed so much! Oh what a treasure it is to capture a moment in time.. forever! She is such a sweet sweet little girl!
