Sweet Jonas Coleman {until we meet again}

If any of you follow my blog, you'll remember this family.  Last night Jonas went home to his Heavenly Father.  Sweet Jonas and his little sister Maggie have  SMA Type I- it's a terminal genetic disease that results in loss of nerves in the spinal cord and weakness of the muscles connected with those nerves.
I can't tell you the gratitude I feel for having the privilege of photographing their family.  To have taken part in seeing the love that exists between them, and capturing it.  wow.  I had to re-post these touching images of Jonas and his family that we took just a few weeks ago.  My heart goes out to The Colemans.
You can visit their blog and send your condolences here
If you know someone whose child has a terminal illness, please let them know I am always happy to photograph them free of charge.  I also happen to know many other photographers who would also be willing.  Feel free to pass on this blog and have them contact me!

I know this little man touched the lives of every person he met. What a blessing.

Wow, Jen! What a blessing it is to have been a part of the Coleman's last memories of their sweet little boy. Katie Moss just had a client who passed away as well a few weeks after taking their photos (you probably heard) which was also a blessing for her. Amazing photos, and cherished memories forever!

Thanks for sharing - what a tender story and amazing pictures. It brought tears to my eyes and I was touched. How neat that you got to be a part of their lives. You are awesome and always have been. You are not only a talented photographer, but are an awesome person, too.

I saw the pics from the photo shoot earlier but just saw this note about his passing. It brought tears to my eyes. What a journey his family has been on. What an amazing opportunity you had to photograph them together.

About This Blog

Hi! I'm Jen, and I own Fauset Photography. I'm a Salt Lake City Utah family, newborn, child and senior photographer. I love photographing interaction between families. My style is a bit candid, along with a traditional twist. I love capturing children as they really are, following them with my camera and just getting who they are is my favorite. Urban family photography here in Salt Lake is one of my favorites!!
I've been photographing weddings for 6 years, I love it so much! Fauset Photography is based in Salt Lake City, Utah- but I travel to Arizona often for faithful clients and weddings. I've also shot weddings in Park City Utah, Denver Colorado, Las Vegas Nevada, Flagstaff and Sedona Arizona, and San Diego California. Thanks for visiting my blog and don't forget to visit my website!
